| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Very hard turning especially when cold. loud wining noises when turning wheel. was unable to check fluid level due to pump being located under the rear of the engine compartment. was diagnosed as leaking hose leading to rack unit and pump failure. that was replaced in april 2004. car was just diagnosed with bad rack unit and pump again in may 2006. mileage at first incident was 52000, car now has 74000 with the same symptoms. $1800 est for repair that only lasts 22000 miles??? *jb |
