Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Evenflo portabout 3 infant car seat & base i think something needs to be done about this model, i have read that other people are having the same problem i am with this infant seat. when you go to latch it onto the base in the car it gets stuck and wont release and sometimes it doesn't latch onto it right , my fiance didn't know it wasn't latched on because it made the clicking noise and in fact it wasn't latched so if we were to get into an accident our daughter could be hurt or even killed form the defective problem . also sometimes the handle on the infant seat wont go from the carry position to the car position . had i known about all these problems i would have never bought this seat . i am going to contact evenflo and see how they can fix this matter. i can not afford to just go out and by another car seat .
