| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: 2006 mustang gt built jan 2006 has problems during fueling operations. unable to get more than 1/2 to 3/4 full tank due to fuel pump cut-off. most likely cause is defective design of "saddlebag" fuel tank and inadequate tank vent. this vehicle is equipped with the "revised" fuel system which has been subject to the same problems reported with the earlier design. this problem greatly diminishes enjoyment of vehicle and decreases the value as the car has a known problem. *jb |
