Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I am writing regarding the warning label sewn on the inside back of the britax roundabout car seat. i placed me child in the seat after getting out of a pool therefore he was not wearing a shirt. i had opened the windows and allowed the car to cool enough to get in. however, when i placed my 8 month old child in the seat he began screaming wildly. when i took him out of the seat he had a visible burn on his back in the shape of the no sign (circle with diagonal crossline) imprinted on his back. this is unacceptable. the fabric of anything a child is going to be placed in should not get so hot that a visible burn can be left on the child. there is no reason my child should have been burned by this label. car seats sit in the sun. we use every measure to block it out and keep the car cool in between rides. the fabric of this label must be changed so children are not burned by it. *jb |
