| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I currently purchased a 1999 concord with the 2.7 engine and had the for 3 months . i took it in for a oil change yesterday and after driving the car back to work i looked out my side view mirror and seen a huge puff of blue smoke when i took off from a stop light. i took the that night to friend who is a mechanic and he told me that the engine is done. he told me about the engine failures on these engines and so i went online to see if he was telling me the truth and i was very surprised of the amount of complaints on the engine.. the price for a rebuilt is about $3500.00 and replacement engine about $6500.00 of which i cannot afford and i still owe $4300.00 on a pile of junk that i cannot drive. is daimler going to remedy this problem and help us out with the cost or are they sitting on there thumbs waiting for the problem to go away? *nm |
