| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Dt*: the contact stated prior to receiving a recall letter in the mail concerning recall # 04v357000; engine and engine cooling, the check engine light illuminated, but did not show any signs of other problems. after the recall repair was performed, the vehicle was shaking and there was visible white smoke coming from the exhaust. the vehicle was also exhibiting a foul burning smell. the recall did not remedy the problem. the dealership would not offer a second repair without charge under the recall. updated 07/05/06. *jb |
