| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Dt*: the contact stated while turning the steering wheel to the left, it made a rough noise and felt as if it were dragging. the noise was more noticeable at 5-10 mph. the vehicle was taken to the service dealer who disassembled the steering shaft and added grease. the problem has now returned after 40,000 miles and the dealer recommended adding the grease under regular scheduled maintenance. however, the unit is sealed and the contact does not understand why grease needed to be added a second time. the manufacturer was also alerted. updated 6-27-2006 - *nm |
