| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I recently purchased a kawasaki 1400 as a birth day gift for my husband. i had it exactly 48 days. saturday 6/17/06 he was out riding his bike on 290 expressway in chicago at 90 mph with a bus behind him the bike completely shut down we do not need to explore the possibilities of what could have went wrong. had it been an accident the first thought would have been rider error as opposed to mechanical error. thank god he was riding in the right hand lane. he rode a suzuki 1300 for years and never had any problems. he is a very seasoned rider and he has been riding since 93 and we always bought suzuki. now my question is if you have any concern for your customers how do you intend to rectify the situation he purchased the bike from dgy in downers grove. we called to see if they heard a respond from the manufactures no one has responded as if this is a minor situation this is a major situation because this is my husbands life the father of my children. if you have any concern for your consumers please contact me at your earliest convenience. if i am not contacted i will take that as a disregard for your consumers and i will contact the chicago sun times and let the public know about this error. *jb |
