| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Dt*: the contact stated that the camshift position censor was not working properly. the check engine light was blinking on a daily basis for over one month. the manual stated the check engine light referred to the camshift censor position. a recall letter, #04v357000, was received for the camshift censor position. when the vehicle was taken to a dealer to service the recall, the dealer determined the recall did not apply because the camshaft position censor was not a part of the recall, even though the vin# was listed as part of the recall. the dealer confirmed the problem could be fix for a fee. |
