| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Dt*: the contact stated after filling the vehicle with gas, a smelled gasoline was observed within the vehicle. upon inspection, gasoline was observed running from underneath the vehicle. the fire department was alerted who determined the vehicle could not be towed because it was too dangerous. a representative from the dealer inspected the vehicle, cleaned the gasoline and then towed the vehicle to the dealership. the dealership determined the seals failed. the seals were repaired. the dealer determined the repaired seals could not be guaranteed. updated 7/25/2006 - on july 7 2006 the consumer smelled the gas odor again. the dealer was contacted and they are currently looking for a new fuel tank to install in the vehicle. *nm *ak updated 8/25/2006 - *nm |
