| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I am a public health nurse/certified child pass. safety tech and coordinate a car seat distribution program through our agency. we recently received a shipment of evenflo tribute convertible seats: model # 3792098, date of manufacturer 19 may 06. my concern is regarding the label on the left side of the car seat which includes an arrow with the statement on it, "arrow must be level with ground when rear-facing." it appears as if the labels on several of the seats are misaligned. in fact, one of the labels was so badly positioned, part of it was not in contact with the car seat; hanging off the bottom edge. when parents installed the seats rear-facing, at the 45 degree angle, the arrow was not level with the ground. in order to make the arrow level with the ground the baby would have been seated too upright. i feel this needs to be corrected as it is misleading to the parents who may rely on the arrow for proper recline position. *jb |
