| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: 2000 ford taurus - rear passenger side coil spring broke causing tire to blow out during operation at a low speed (approximately 15 mph). cause of problem was not identified until a new tire was installed and severe rubbing sound was noticed. replacement tire was damaged by broken spring but had not ruptured before problem was identified. upon research we found there was a recall on the front coil spring for essentially the same problem but we had not received notification of recall. *jb |
