Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: I purchased a 2005 chevy trailblazer less than a year ago. since that time the vehicle has been in the service center four different times. each time the vehicle has failed to start. the dealer states that the rear hatch module continues to short out. this module causes the entire vehicle to short out. i have expressed my concerns with the safety of this vehicle with the dealer and have not gotten anywhere. i an a single mother of a two year old. i am only interested in the safety of my child. jack schmitt chevrolet of o'fallon illinois will not stand behind the vehicle that they sold or admit that there is a problem. the last time i brought my vehicle in for this problem they told me that it was the ignition. when i came to pick up the vehicle after they had "fixed" it, the vehicle would not start. they admitted that it was in fact the rear hatch module again and that they had made an educated guess the first time in order to save time. i would like someone to hold this dealership responsible for the defect in this car and to stop giving consumers the run around. *jb
