Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Problem: failure of sun visor on 2006 honda civic. i recently purchased a honda civic from mission valley honda in san diego california. the car is now about 4 months old and both of the sun visors are falling apart. i know this is now a huge safety issue, but a visor falling off in a crash or during air bag deployment is something i am concerned with. on taking the car to the dealer they told us that the part is on back order because they are falling apart on many of the new civics. i am writing this because i do not know if you have been informed of the problem, and it does seem that a re-design of the part may be needed to correct the problem, and may warrant a recall. please feel free to contact me about this matter. -andrew gibbs. *nm |
