Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: I received a recall notice in the mail from chrysler. the recall was for a high pressure power steering hose. smith chrysler made the repair on 07-06-06. when i started the car i noticed that the drive belts were slipping and making a strange sound. later that night i jacked up the vehicle and inspected the work that was performed. i found power steering fluid on numerous parts pf my engine and frame. there was also fluid on the belts which was causing them to slip. on 07-07-2006 , i returned to the dealer to have the fluid cleaned. when i arrived at my home later that day i noticed that there was still power steering fluid on some parts of my car. i called the general manager and made a complaint. the manager interviewed the mechanic and found out that there was a lot of fluid lost while replacing the hose. i was never told why they parked my car on the ready line with so much flammable liquid on it that my belts were slipping. the general manager now wants me to return a third time. i am concerned that the fluid might catch on fire. i have been cleaning it up for over one hour now. can you help me with these people ........the very least that needs to be done is a engine wash............thank you. *nm
