| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Dt*: the contact stated the vehicle had a premature failure of the fuel tank assembly. the top of the gas tank assembly rusted out causing a fuel leak which increased the probability of a fire. updated 9/15/2006 - the consumer saw the fuel leaking from the vehicle at a rate of 1-3 drops per second. the vehicle was taken to the dealer who determined that the fuel sending unit hardware was severely rusted and corroded. the entire assembly had to be replaced. *nm |
