| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Found blistering steel on left strut tower. was concerned because strut top is supported by the tower. used a screwdriver and hammer to knock rusted metal loose. found holes clear through the metal into the wheel well. took the vehicle to the dealer. was told this is a common problem with a bulletin from chrysler corporation. was told the vehicle could be repaired for $350.00 dollars. had vehicle repaired and paid the bill. i feel that this is a defect in the vehicle design that is unsafe. chrysler should have a recall and reimburse people for the repairs. i have taken digital photographs of the rust damage. *nm |
