| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: My wife was driving vehicle around town on a short trip (<10 mi). she had come to a complete stop to perform a "michigan" turn (turning left using separate turn-around drives located in the median). when she began to accelerate to perform the turn, the car lunged but did not move. her initial reaction was that the car was in neutral, but further review showed that the car had stalled (identified by the "dummy" lights lit up on the dash). she put the car in park, restarted it and proceeded. this is our first experience with the "stalling" problem with this vehicle. gas tank was greater than full but not completely full. vehicle mileage: 7788 miles. vehicle had probably not reached full operating temperature. *jb |
