Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Dt*: the contact stated that there is wood and sheets of plastic under the floor of the vehicle which should be steel. this was considered a safety issue because flammable materials were used to close the hot tail pipes, muffler and gas tank. the service dealer determined this was the way the vehicle was design. the model of the recreational vehicle is sun voyager. updated 7/31/2006 - the consumer is reluctant to use the motorhome because of fire hazard. *nm the motor home had a major hydraulic leak. a new power gear hydraulic pump was installed. the front dash air was not cooling adequately. updated 08/03/06. *jb updated 8/14/2006 - the lp gas furnace compartment on the interior of the coach where the gas furnace combustion chamber is loosely lined with non fitting pieces of drywall. electrical 110 volt line and heavy coach amp line was exposed and loosely placed under the coaches wood floor. the placement of the electrical breakers, fuses, all main electrical line junction location along with converter box were placed under the rear bedroom bed. *nm updated 08/14/06. 8jb |
