Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: 2006 monaco knight 40 plq windshield wipers stick and won't return to the middle of the windshield. *kb the consumer stated at highway speed, the windshield wiper goes too far to the left. the manufacturer suggested that the consumer adjust the angle of the wiper blade. the consumer stated it helped a little, but not a lot, and now the wiper does not clean the water off the windshield as well. the consumer took the vehicle to the dealer and they installed springs which would held the wipers more tightly against the windshield, however, at less than 50 mph the springs did improve the performance of the wipers. between 50 and 60 mph the force of the wind hitting the windshield forced the tip of the left wiper to hit the frame of the windshield and sometimes the wiper would just stick in one place. the consumer believed the arms were too long and not heavy enough to withstand the forces being applied to them. there was too much play in the linkage and also the motor was too weak to make the wipers function properly. *jb
