Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Upon attempting to turn our evenflo convertible car seat around to front facing, we discovered that the tether strap is way too short to reach the tether hooks in my mini-van. it is, indeed, so short that it would not reach the hook in any mini vans or suvs that i have seen. we called evenflo and were told that they were aware of this manufacturing defect, but had no solution available. this makes our car seat unusable in the safest fashion! i saw this car seat today in the store with the too short tether strap. consumers should not be required to risk the safety of their children because of a manufacturing defect. the seat is an evenflo titan convertible seat for children 5 to 40 pounds. *nm
