| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: My wife and i purchased a 2004 thor skamper ultra lite 30 foot travel trailer in february of 05. it is a 2004 and we bought it off the lot. this year while taking it to the campground we noticed the camper leaning to one side and had difficulty bringing the slide into place. we took it to two reputable places and each said it cannot be fixed, the wall is collapsing and is not safe to take on the road. we called the manufacturer and were told we are the second owners and they will not do anything. the camper is 2 yrs old we only used it 7-8 times. the manufacturer told us that the previous owners bought it in august and sold it in january so i don't think they could have used it very much also. we don't know what to do with it now and we still owe $14,000 on it. *nm |
