| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I notified daimler-chrysler (dc) that i had a problem when my dealer tried to fix it 4 times to not avail. dc sent a tech to look at my car and because they could not replicate my problem (happens sporadically), they deemed my car normal. so anyone experiencing the following problem can expect to be told its normal? "lack of power when at a stop, even though you might be mashing in the gas pedal (pedal to the metal)" so if you fear for your life when you're in the middle of an intersection and your car won't move, don't worry because its normal? i believe i have a major safety issue with this car because multiple times i have been stopped on the road and then unable to move because my car does not register that i'm pushing down on the pedal. this past week-end it happened and i had a truck coming at me but the car would not move! thankfully the driver swerved around my car with a lot a honking and such. but because they would not replicate that problem, they say its fine. i'm concerned that this will happen again and i won't be lucky enough to get out of the way! *nm |
