| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: While driving about 45 mph i heard a popping sound and then wind noise. i then saw light coming through between the windshield and top. the top had delaminated from the driver side across the front and about 3/4th of the passenger side. i have both tops for this car ( the painted top and the clear top )it was the painted top that delaminated. i removed the painted top and put on the clear top. i took the car to the dealer and they have ordered a new top for the car. if i had been on the interstate highway and driving at the 65 mph speed limit the top would probably have blown off the car and possibly hit another car or caused an accident. the dealer has been very helpful and is trying to get the latest,improved top for me. *nm |
