| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Dt*: the contact stated since purchase while traveling various speeds, the engine revs while the brake pedal is depressed, causing the vehicle to accelerate. to eliminate the revving and acceleration, the brake pedal must remain depressed and the engine turned off. the vehicle has been to the dealership multiple times, but the problem could not be duplicated. once while parking the vehicle, the engine revved and hit concrete steps and another vehicle. during this incident, the vehicle accelerated so fast, the airbags deployed. there was a police report filed at the scene and the contact sustained minor injuries. the vehicle was towed to a salvage yard where it awaits inspection by the insurance company.. updated 09/06. *jb |
