| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: 2001 chevy blazer 4 door 4wd, 80,000 miles we could not keep the drivers door closed when we investigated we found the door latch segment on the center post of the vehicle had broken off the center post. the sheet metal holding the heavy latch metal had fatigued through all the way around, and the latch was then not hooked to any thing. we welded a heavy plate to the frame and re-attached the latch to it. we checked the passenger side and found it in similar condition. *jb |
