Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: I own a '99 jeep grand cherokee laredo and i purchased this vehicle from overland park jeep in overland park jeep in 2002. over the 3-4 year period of time that i owned this car, i had to get the brakes serviced for about 5 times for the exact same problem. i took my car to a jeep certified dealer jim&clark motors. every time i took my car there to get the brakes serviced, i had to pay a significant amount of money but the problem was only temporarily solved. the problem was that the steering wheel would vibrate every time i use my brakes. especially on the highway the vibration becomes apparent even to the passengers. almost every time only 6 months after i would start to feel a pulsation on the steering wheel. i have addressed the issue to jim clark service. they did not seem to care and instead performed the same service even the last time i took my car there. the main reason why i took my car there was that, it is a jeep and where else can take good care of a jeep better than a jeep certified shop. the vibration on the steering wheel turns into a safety issue every time. the pulsation/vibration becomes very strong and as i am driving, especially on the highway, i hesitate to use my brakes and choose not to use them unless i really have to. i look for other ways to slow down my car before i use my brakes. i do things such as using the overdrive on/off button. it is also very likely that the pulsation i feel on my steering wheel transfers to the wheels, basically due to the fact that the source of the vibration is the brake system (front). this may result in even a more serious safety issue. this is my only car, and i have to drive it although it is not in its best condition. thank you very much for your time in advance, jim&clark motors 2121 w 29th terrace lawrence, ks, 66047 service : (785) 843-3055 overland park jeep 8775 metcalf avenue overland park, ks, 66212 service : (913) 381-8100. *nm
