| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I currently own the 2006 scion tc, in which this incident is regarding nhtsa action number pe06024. my stationary glass panel section of my scion tc's moonroof has been shattered by no physical contact to the glass. as i was opening the trunk to my car, the moonroof began to crack, spidering and completely shattering the glass. i brought the car to toyota around 12 hours after the incident, in which toyota is currently investigating this issue. however, i wanted to report this incident to you, considering this is clearly a defect in the scion tc's design. the scion tc that i own is barely three months old with 3700 miles to it, so i am hoping this complaint will get back to toyota and repair my car. *nm |
