| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Dt*: the contact stated the check engine light illuminated while driving on the interstate at 60 mph in clear dry weather. the vehicle was taken to an independent repair shop where all fluid levels were checked but could not identify the problem. the contact received a recall letter regarding nhtsa recall #04v357000; engine and engine cooling and scheduled for the repair. after inspection of the camshaft sensor, the service dealer determined there was nothing wrong with the camshaft sensor. when called later, the service dealer could not remember the lot number of the camshaft sensor on the vehicle. the manufacturer was not contacted. |
