Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Vehicle has stalled twice during operation nearly causing severe accidents. once while exciting off ramp of freeway at around 40 mph and once while accelerating from a stop. with no power steering or brakes either situation could have been deadly, we were just lucky that the drivers around us were alert and we were able to restart the vehicle and get away safely. the second occurrence happened with my family in the car and frightened us all. the vehicle is currently in the shop, the dealer mentioned no known problems. i came home and did a quick web search and found several postings on various web sites stating the same problem. some one is going to be killed if they have not already as a result of this. where is the recall? *jb
