Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: My 2004 safari trek motorhome built on a workhorse w20 chassis has a problem in that the electronic instrument panel shuts down while driving. workhorse claims that it is normal operation. while driving the instrument panel (ip) shuts down completely and then turns back on. it acts exactly like you turned off the ignition key and then turned it back on. all of the alarm go off and it scares the driver to the point you lose concentration of the road. the ip has been replaced more than once and now complaints to workhorse are answered by saying "it is normal operation". how many accidents have to happen before action is taken to resolve the problem. at a recent workhorse presentation at a motorhome rally every owner of a 2004 and up w20 chassis indicated that they have experienced the problem. i have had the problem occur at least 15 times in the two and a half years i've owned the motorhome. *nm
