Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Car seat purchased for use at a permanent fitting station location in indiana. there is a small "button" on each side of the base that holds the adjustable leveling device to the base. one of the "buttons" broke off on one side of the base, causing the leveling foot to be unstable and causes the functioning side to come out of the hole on the other side, leading the base to not stay in position to maintain the 45 degree angle needed for installation. seat can't be used without the base, no belt path. this is the second seat from this batch manufactured 11/22/05 that has had this problem. i returned the first one, which was replaced by the manufacturer, and am planning on returning the second one, but feel this is an engineering flaw if it breaks during shipping. *jb
