| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: This is a corrected complaint, the complaint i filed previously had incorrect information. driver's side seat back began reclining unexpectedly. local dodge dealer performed recall service on recliner bolts, but seat still continued to recline, happening repeatedly on numerous occasions, very nearly resulting in an accident with a child on a bike. final repairs performed at local body shop, nylon gear in seat track was stripped. was repaired with parts from a used seat assembly in good condition. nylon gears responsible for the movement of seat back are inadequate and should be replaced by daimler chrysler corporation with stronger quality gears. body shop kept old seat track with defective gear and may still be available. *nm |
