Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: The rear axle seals on the nissan titan years 2004-current have a severe and persistent problem with leaking. i have had my 2006 nissan titan in the shop once to replace the right rear axle seal at 18,000 miles and now at 20,000 miles it is leaking again. the location of the leak is what worries me. when the axle seal fails, it sprays gear oil on the brake components (rotors, calipers, pads) and i am worried that the pads will become contaminated and not work effectively when to stop my truck in case of a sudden stop. *nm |
