Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: 2005 dodge 2500 consumer received recall for gear shifter. mechanic did not repair the issue. *kb the consumer was informed by the manufacturer that the recall had been completed and nothing else could be done. the consumer stated the original defect had not been corrected. the consumer noticed that the vehicle was becoming more difficult to shift into park and sometimes when he opens the door while backing up the horn does not sound. therefore, the original safety hazard still exists. the consumer assumed the dealer was going to adjust the shift linkage, but he soon discovered, they had done nothing to the shifter. *jb
