Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Consumer would like reimbursement for two tires replaced on a 2004 honda pilot. *kb the consumer mechanic noticed uneven tread wear on the rear tires. the vehicle was taken to the tire dealer for inspection. the technician informed the consumer that she definitely needed new tires but that there was nothing they could do other than sell her new tires. the tire were only two years old. the consumer purchase new tires elsewhere for a better price. the consumer mechanic stated that low tire pressure could cause wear. the mechanic checked the other two tires pressure and discovered that the tires were underinflated at 32 psi. the pressure in the doorjamb of the vehicle also indicated 32 psi. the mechanic looked on the tire and saw that the max psi was 44 and informed the consumer that she should maintain 40 psi, no less. *nm |
