Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Air conditioning not cooling properly. tested vent temperatures in identical conditions using an infrared temperature probe and a normal analog temperature probe. used 1997 mercury mountaineer in test with my new 2006 dodge durango. tested initial left center vent temp and the temp after 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 minutes using the dash vents only and max cool and max fan. the nine year old mountaineer vent temp was 9 or 10 degrees cooler after 5 minutes. the older vehicle cooled faster and provided colder air temps. this testing was done after noticing the durango wasn't cooling as well as my old mountaineer. *jb |
