Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: The defect is to the baby trend flex loc base flexible attachment system. there are two metal screws that hold a metal plate to the front plastic cover of the mechanisms that tightens or loosens the strap that holds the base to the car latch. these screws, while still attached to the plastic cover, allowed the metal plate to separate from the plastic cover. the spring that creates the tension preventing the strap from loosening fell out resulting in the strap loosening without having to press the red button which caused the base with the car seat attached to loosen. *jb |
