| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I purchased a lexus es 350 after much research to find the safest car with advanced airbags. lexus has a dual airbag on the passenger side which is why i chose this car. however it is not safe for me as the airbag off light comes on at times , so in an accident it may not do me any good. when there is a big bump in the road it immediately says off on occasions, other times i do nothing and it says off. when this happens, we need to pull over and turn car off and restart to get it to say on again, or sometimes i bounce hard and it will kick back on. when i was tested in car at lexus, which they were very nice to me i might add, i weighed in at about 87 pounds and this is where the problem lies, as i really weigh 115 pounds. they said it could take 6 months or a year before they can get it solved, due to govt. regulations with the faulty occupant sensory system. *jb |
