| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: In 2/05, took van to dealer, explaining vehicle sometimes does not start, doesn't even make any turn over noises, but then smells of gas. this is an occasional item and then starts. dealers stated i must be turning the key too fast. also been experiencing vehicle cutting out between 35-50 mph. dealer states must be from taking foot off gas pedal. most recently, around 33k, blower motor for ac has terrible noise. have taken to dealer 2x in 3 weeks. told there are "leaves" in system. an independent mechanic states it is most likely a bearing going bad in the motor. have continued to inform dealer of starting problems & hesitation problems between 35-50 mpg. told warranty is close to expiring, but have driven & started vehicle several times & can't replicate problem. most recent trip to dealer was on 8/23/06. *jb |
