Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: From a stationary position at a stop light i proceeded through a moderate dip into the middle of the busy intersection. while traveling through the intersection the spare tire completely fell off of underside of 2000 chevy s-10 truck. upon inspection, i noticed that the cable snapped approximately 1/8 inch inside of the connector at the end of the cable. i retained as many of the parts as i could find including the end where the cable snapped (they were in the middle of a busy intersection), cable and winch are still attached to car, and spare tire remains in the bed of the truck. car turning behind me luckily was not following closely and was able to negotiate around the tire rolling through the intersection. *jb
