| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Dt*: the contact stated the vehicle accelerated on its own while approaching a traffic light traveling 5-10 mph. the cruise control was not activated at the time. the vehicle continued to accelerate while stopped at the light. in order to stop the acceleration the contact put the vehicle in the park position. the vehicle continued to drive normally after pulling out from the light; however the problem reoccurred. this has gotten progressively worse over the last two weeks. the dealership has been informed and determined there was a recall on the vehicle speed control; however concluded this specific problem was not one of the characteristics of that recall. the nhtsa recall number is: 05v388000, regarding the vehicle speed control. |
