| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Loud "clunking" sound during shifting transmission starting at about 17,000 miles on brand new purchased nissan titan 4x4 le. later noticed and smelled smoke coming from left rear wheel of vehicle. noticed on further inspection underneath excessive fluid leak from rear axle onto wheel and tires causing smoke. truck brought to local texas dealer who performed warranty repairs at direction of nissan na. the "entire rear axle and differential" had to be replaced. truck was in shop for 7 days. nissan provided rental vehicle. *jb |
