| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Eddie bauer child carseat with base, model #: 22-630-mrc, mgf. date: 8/16/05, no matter how tightly we secure this base using the lap/shoulder strap and locking clip, it seems the base would come loose if our car were to ever flip over. the base seems secure where the belt holds it down in the back (the taller part of the base that is closest to the back of the seat), but if you lift the front of the base up, it easily releases the base from the seat belt. we have followed the instructions to a t and have referred to our car's owner's manual as well. i can't believe there isn't a recall for this base/car seat. *nm |
