| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: My car failed to start. on checking battery, located under rear passenger seat, i discovered the battery was badly corroded. the battery sits directly on the floor pan beneath passenger seat. on removing the battery i discovered the corrosion had eaten through the floor resulting in a hole one inch in diameter. i had the floor pan repaired and had rinocoat sprayed on to prevent future problems. i feel gm should put a plastic tray under the battery to prevent this problem.*jb |
