Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: The front springs on 2003 chevrolet 1500 silvered quad cab trucks are collapsing and gmc/chevrolet knows about problem and says it the owners responsible to fix their mistake in designing and engineering the truck. they sent out a technical service bulletin to all dealers about problem and says it the owners need to pay $18.00 dollars for rubber bushing to push up spring and 380.00 in labor .it not the company's fault. i think they need a recall and replace the springs with heavy duty springs at their cost not the owners cost. *nm
