Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: After 3500 miles of normal use my 2006 bmw r1200rt's rear wheel began to come off the rear drive assembly posing a safety threat to me. the mechanical link between the wheel and final drive apparently failed causing excess play in the rear wheel and resulting in abnormal tire wear, poor handling, and would have eventually failed catastrophically. *jb |
