| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: While riding my 2006 bmw r1200rt motorcycle in harriman state park the rear top case came off of my vehicle and narrowly misses my friend who was following me on an afternoon ride. the case opened upon impacting the ground dropping my personal belongings on the roadway........ the manufacturer and dealer refused to repair my vehicle and i have heard of this happening more and more with the 2005/2006 r1200 models of gs and rt. people could be hurt if this is not looked into ....also great losses to owners in time and money to repair damaged equipment and personal belongings. *jb |
