Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Airbag malfunction indicator light is on. creating a critical and dangerous problem that needs to be addressed asap. since this is a safety related defect and is covered by law as stated by nhtsa on there web site under voq and recall booklet. the airbag malfunction creates a situation in which could cause death and critical injuries to the driver and passenger. i contacted american honda motor co. they refuse 100% to repair the malfunction. they refused to let me speak to a dept. supervisor. they also stated that the dept. supervisor never contacts or speaks to any customer. stating that this was the way they do business. i spoke to mr. todd yamatsuka american honda motor co. at automobile customer service. i told him more than one time that the airbag malfunction was a critical safety related defect and i also informed him that by refusing to repair the malfunction would be a violation under nhtsa law requirements. he even offered me what can be considered as a bribe, stating that he could get me free spark plugs, dist.cap, and wires. i refused to accept this. in order to end this conversation i ask for the last time if he was going to repair the airbag malfunction he stated no. ps i do not know what oem stands for please let me know when ever possible. *nm |
