| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: My 2001 xl 2500 has had periodic problems starting and stalling at different times. the starting problem happens about 2 times as often as the stalling problem. they do not happen at the same time. usually, if it doesn't fire right up you have to wait about twenty seconds and try again. it usually starts the second or third time. the stalling problem is less detectable. it has happened about 4 times total. each time i was fortunate to be going under 30 miles per hour and able to compensate for the loss of power. i did not purchase this vehicle as new and do not know if prior owner experienced any problems. it had 30,000 miles on it when i purchased it in jan. 2002. *nm |
